2024/2025 "Bloom" Branding & Creative Direction

For Washington Gymnastics Team 51, I developed a brand identity centered around their chosen theme: "Bloom." Inspired by Seattle’s rainy days that bring forth the city's iconic cherry blossoms and lush greenery, the brand is bold and elegent; refelective of the teams personality. Artwork for this team includes but is not limited to print materials, social media applications, web releases, ticket sales, sponsorships & partners, video board content, marketing events, and more.

Post-Season: Huskies in Full Bloom

Hosting the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds of NCAA Regionals in Seattle, I wanted the post-season graphics package to reflect the look and feel of UW that weekend: in full bloom. I had planned to incorporate plenty of florals, knowing Seattle’s iconic cherry blossoms would be at their peak—but the sunny, blue skies were a surprise to everyone. Adding that pop of blue to this season’s palette was the perfect way to refresh the look and visually capture the atmosphere on campus.

Season Graphics & Templates

I took time to carefully craft each 'Meet Day' graphic, which include a skyline or feature of each city the team traveled to during our first year in the Big 10. Accompanying these are graphic templates that are made easily editable & user-friendly for our social media team to use on day of competition. Each graphic comes in varying sizes for multiple application accross the web and in-venue.  Additionally, I've created one-off's for awards, rankings, records, holidays, promotions, and much more.

Team 51 Logo & Wordmark

At the heart of this brand is a custom "W" logo, blooming with floral details that represent the growth, resilience, and the team’s journey to success in a new conference with an entirely new coaching staff. It is accompanied by a word mark using the teams chosen phrase 'fifty-won', attributing to their fifty-first season.
The logo can be used in one-color and two-color applications, making it versatile enough for large scale print items, as well as small digital applications.
