Men’s and Women’s Rowing at Washington share social media accounts and compete at many of the same races, so their visuals need to represent both teams while respecting their distinct cultures. While the two programs have their own unique identities, they are united by the deep history of Washington Rowing and the sport as a whole.As I develop their 2025 season look, I’ve leaned into a classic, historical aesthetic that reflects the program’s legacy while also capturing the intensity and grit of rowing. The goal is to create a timeless, powerful visual identity that feels as enduring as the team’s history—while still delivering fresh, engaging content.
